The two villages share only one pub-cum-restaurant, the Trout Inn, which is situated on the side of the Driffield Navigation on the B1249 at Wansford.
The Eagle at Skerne, is currently closed and up for sale.
The Trout has a fine reputation for good food and is a popular and picturesque venue.
